How long does a modular kitchen take to install?
The timeline from design approval to installation depends on the size and complexity of the kitchen. A standard L-shape or parallel kitchen for a 2–3BHK home typically takes 18–25 working days. Larger U-shape or island kitchens may take 28–35 working days. We always confirm the timeline in writing before you place the order, and we honour it.
What is the difference between a modular and a carpenter-made kitchen?
A modular kitchen is factory/workshop-manufactured in standardized cabinet modules with precise cuts, edge banding and finish — then assembled at site. It's more accurate, consistent and uses better materials. A traditional carpenter-made kitchen is built on-site, which is less precise and harder to modify later. Modular kitchens also retain their value if you relocate — you can dismantle and reinstall.
Do you include chimney and hob in the kitchen package?
We design the kitchen to perfectly integrate your chimney and hob — including cut-outs, electrical provision and chimney duct routing. We can also supply chimneys and hobs from leading brands (Elica, Faber, Kaff, Glen) as part of a complete kitchen package, or design around appliances you already own or plan to buy. Just share the brand and model while discussing the design.
What countertop should I choose for Indian cooking?
For Indian cooking, granite is the most recommended countertop — it's extremely heat-resistant, handles masala and oil spills well, and is easy to clean. Black galaxy, Kashmir white and Viscount white are the most popular choices. Quartz is a good alternative if you prefer a more uniform look and don't mind a slightly lower heat tolerance. We carry samples of all options during the home visit.
Can I get a kitchen designed for a very small space?
Absolutely. We specialize in compact kitchen optimization — 1BHK kitchens, studio apartment kitchens and narrow galley spaces. With smart pull-out units, corner carousels, wall-mounted storage and vertical upper cabinets, even a 60 sq ft kitchen can be made extremely functional. Small kitchens are our specialty because they require the most clever design.
What warranty do you provide?
Our modular kitchens come with a 5-year workmanship warranty covering structural integrity, shutter delamination and joint failures not caused by misuse. Hardware components (hinges, drawer channels, pull-outs) carry the Hettich / Hafele 10-year manufacturer warranty. Countertops carry a 1-year warranty on edge chipping from manufacturing defects. All warranty terms are provided in writing at handover.
